A quaint authentic stay. We loved it here and especially loved the outdoor seating and backyard pool. The Capelhinos was the main thing I was looking forward to seeing on the island and it was nice to be so close.

The beds were fairly firm and the curtains did not fully block out light.

Wir sind durch Flugannulierung auf Faial gestrandet und haben uns zum Glück spontan für 1 Woche im Casal Vulcao eingemietet. Es ist sehr abgelegen und ruhig gelegen und trotzdem sehr zentral zu vielen Aussflugspunkten. Der Leutturm und das Museum sind in 10 min. zu fuss erreichbar. Sehr schöne anlage mit allem was es braucht. Aussenbereichen und kleinem Pool. Alles sehr liebevoll und wertig. Die Vermieter sind sehr sehr gastfreundlich und nett und geben aufmerksam und geben gerne Auskunft auf alle Fragen. Wir haben uns superwohl gefühlt.

Sandra e Luis sono stati molto cortesi.Gli appartamenti erano caratteristici. spaziosi e inseriti in un bel contesto. Peccato per il tempo bruttissimo che non ci ha consentito di esplorare la zona al meglio.

La porta del bagno al piano superiore era molto difficile da aprire dall'interno e questo ha creato qualche momento di panico.

A localização é fenomenal em termos de sossego e proximidade a percursos pedestres e vulcão dos Capelinhos. A casa era confortável, com bastantes cuidados em termos ecológicos (reciclagem, compostagem, utilização de novas tecnologias para reduzir consumos (energéticos e papel)) e a cozinha tinha tudo o que era necessário para confeccionar refeições (tinha varinha mágica). O jardim e piscina estavam bem cuidados. Os anfitriões são super afáveis. Viajámos com a nossa cadela que foi igualmente bem recebida.
