If you are going by motorbike, be very careful on the arrival to the village, especially if it’s raining. Very steep slopes, and paved with slippery rocks.

The property is a very traditional Portuguese house that still has areas used in the past. It makes the whole experience a full immersion in Portuguese culture. In addition, the owner is very much available to explain all the history behind the property.

It was a bit cold but it is normal for Portugal. In fact, the home was furnished with autonomous heater that were very effective and made the temperature perfect.

The house is in the small village near Lamego. It’s old house - tipical for the region. You can feel how the people in the region used to live. The rooms were really small, but the common areas were great: living room, traditional kitchen with old stoves, shed for making wine and garden with a lot of wine. In November it was really cold there 5 degrees at night. The bed had extra clothing and the bathroom was hot. In other parts of the house was really cold. Thanks to the owner we could fire the bid stove and it was amazing. In the morning was cold again :/ It’s a wonderful experience. I hope be back in warmer months.

It was cold.

The house that I had my room used to be an old vinery in the small village. My room with two windows and the balcony was very comfortable and quiet. The common kitchen was amazing, I felt like I jumped to old times. Clean and had everything the guest might need (even coffee and tea). The host was very friendly. If i know how nice it is=, I would stay there for longer time. I loved it

Nice and peaceful,shared use of the whole house , well equipped kitchen,the host was very helpful, for the price it was excellent ,

The only drawback is the location it's 3 Kms down and single track road and hard to find without GPS .

Host was excellent and went out of her way to assist, I was arriving from Porto by bicycle and ran into so issues and was late checking in. My host collected me from Lamego
