The breakfast was good and served by a very friendly member of staff. Good coffee and served to your table.

We booked one of cheaper rooms (although it was still expensive) and so expected a small room. However, the ceiling was so low that I could not stand upright in the room. I am tall but not exceptionally so. The ceiling in the shower is so low that it's impossible for anyone to stand and take a shower. You must sit on a shelf and hold the shower hose. To add to the discomfort there are no blinds on the window. I feel a little deceived by this hotel. There is no mention in the room description of the ceiling height restriction. I certainly would not have booked if I had known about it. This is not a cheap hotel. A more minor complaint is that I contacted the hotel prior to arrival to check if they had secure cycle parking. The reply was that it would be no problem. When we arrived we were just told to lock our bikes outside!

Ho soggiornato in questa villa molto bella e dalla posizione eccezionale direttamente sulla scogliera che dire.....panorama mozzafiato! Eravamo nella camera blu che si affacciava proprio sul mare, uno spettacolo veramente magnifico! I letti erano comodi, bagno e camera di buone dimensioni, colazione che ti servono al tavolo comprende frutta fresca tagliata a fettine, pane e brioches con burro e marmellata e uova strapazzate ed infine succo di arancia confezionato, anche la sala colazione affacciata sulla scogliera con vista straordinaria

Ora passiamo alle cose da migliorare visto che il posto è strepitosoemerita una tappa, allora lo si.finella camera blu inesistente, dovevamo andare fuori nel vialetto di ingresso o in piscina o nella struttura principale se lo volevamo usare, poi altra cosa non ho potuto lavarmi i capelli per 3 giorni perché non c'era un phon in tutta la struttura e visto che il vento era freddino ho evitato, basterebbe poco per rimediare, ultima cosa sconsiglio la cene in struttura, decisa da noi la prima sera perché eravamo stanchi e per goderci il panorama nella nostra stanza con finestrone vista mare, perché il pesce era riscaldato quindi non piacevole

Prime coastal location - you hear the sea all night. Very beautifully restored old villa. Walking distance to Azenha do Mar. Very nice and charming service team ! Good breakfast. An absolutely recommendable stay !

Prachtige locatie met super mooie kamers ! Heel vriendelijk personeel, super service gericht en fijn zwembad. Wanneer je bijzonder wil dineren op 1 km restaurante Picina echt fantastisch!

Location on the cliff was spectacular. Easy walk to Praia das Maças or on the cliff to Azenhas do Mar. Also enjoyed the traditional architecture of the house.

Eine tolle alte Villa in genialer Lage mit Blick auf den Atlantik und gute Restaurants fußläufig erreichbar. Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich.

Die Villa ist in keinem sehr guten Zustand. Unser großes Zimmer mit Bad hatte während unseres Aufenthalts durchgängig einen sehr muffigen Geruch, es roch nach Feuchtigkeit, die Deckenverkleidung hatte viele Wasserflecken. Aus den Abflüssen im Bad roch es leider so stark, dass man die Türen nicht offen lassen konnte. Das war ein großer Mangel für das ansonsten tolle Haus, das mal einer Grundsanierung bedarf.
