Old Parochial House

THE WELCOMING IS FRIENDY AND RESPECTFUL. THE HOUSE IS COSY AND PERFECT TO RELAX AND DETOX. THE BEST SILENCE EVER. SUPER CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE. I TOTALLY RECOMMEND IT.

The hosts were so lovely and kind, and kept in touch with me as well as waiting up to let me in when my flight was delayed. The breakfast wasn't made for you, but the fridge was stocked with sausages and bacon and eggs and bread and milk and everything you could want to make a snack or meal. I saved money by staying here and renting a car rather than staying in downtown Dundalk where my work was. The bathroom is shared but there are multiple ones so you never wait, and both are kept very clean. There's lots of hot water. I especially enjoyed building a fire and playing piano one blustery afternoon.

Mary was very helpful, she rang me ahead of my arrival and arranged to have the keys set out for me before I arrived as I was in a rush.

Clean. Good shower. Ned comfortable. Quiet.

Bedroom pretty basic. Not en suite. Breakfast was "make your own" kitchen facilities were a bit tired.

I liked the obvious history of the house. It would be perfect for a large family group. Lots of space but with shared facilities. Great communication with the host throughout.
