"Very Good"

Lovely location, great staff, really good breakfast. Room 7 was nicely decorated and very large. High quality bedding. Large modern TV in room, and a lounge area for guests which was superb with a lit log burner and comfortable chairs.

The bathroom in room 7 needs a total refurbishment as it, unfortunately really let the rest of the place down. It didn't look like it belonged in the same space. The toilet seat was broken. The hot water, though plentiful, was so powerful it rendered the shower totally unusable as the cold water pressure just couldn't compete with it. Fortunately, we were able to use the bath. Other rooms have pictures of the bathrooms that look nice, maybe it's just a room 7 thing.

The breakfast was generous and delicious, particularly the local black pudding, and the scrambled eggs were heaven. We had supper as well, trying things we hadn't come across before, always a good thing, and scrumptious.
