"Quirky and attractive. Fine for us and our small dog for an overnight stay."

6.0

Quirky little cottage. OK for our one night stay. Communication with the owner was very good, we found the bed comfy. The local pub food was ok if a little pricey, but they were dog friendly

Steep steps up to the cottage which was a little tricky to find. Ridiculously easy when you know how! The door frames are quite low for my 5ft 11ins other half and he hit his head multiple times. (Should have learnt more quickly)

"Pleasant"

Decor, view of country side.

I would of liked somewhere comfortable to sit .. a shower . The steps up to studio flat were precarious. Space was limited.

"Overall a nice stay. Particularly loved the roll top bath and quaint cottage features."

7.0

Very quaint cottage in a very quiet location.

There was no hairdryer or BBQ as stated on accomodation booking. The sheet on the bottom bunk appeared to have not been changed. Some spare bedding would have been helpful.

"Beautiful, simple, quirky cottage in a great location."

6.0

Loved the quirky feel of the place and the location was beautiful. It would have been useful to know about the kitchenette facilities, E.g no hob etc.

There were a fair few cobwebs about the place, could have done with a dust and hoover. List of facilities were over emphasised.

"Lovely, peaceful, comfy and we stayed an extra night"

10.0

Lovely area, dog friendly and a dog friendly pub a stone throw away. Cottage was lovely, bath was so deep and amazing I didn't want to get out!! Bed lovely and comfy.

Only downside is that it said bbq facilities but there wasn't. Would of been perfect to of had a BBQ at the top of the walk way garden

"Bad"

1.0

Very rickety bed. Creaked everytime you moved. Visibly looked clean but next morning had to sweep through. Nowhere to sit to be comfortable. Did highlight bed. But owner never offered a part refund for two sleapness nights. I could not wait to leave! Sadly. Always given top reviews

As above

"Good stay.. could be better"

5.0

Quiet location although a little confusing to get to. Bathroom was lovely and clean and there was also a nice little garden.

Advertisement doesn’t show that it isn’t the whole cottage it’s only the top part which can be misleading. The indoor and out door bin hadn’t been emptied, the cottage was very cold although heaters were supplied they didn’t really heat the place. The steps up to the door are quite treacherous not good for the elderly or if your not very stable on your feet. Parking at the front of the property was ok if you have a small car, larger cars would have a problem.
