The dining table/sofa arrangement was very tight. The sofa wasn’t particularly comfortable - we kept sliding forward.

Well appointed and decorated comfortable room with bathroom. Loved the wood burner!

The breakfast while lovely, the bread was a little hard when toasted!

We had a wonderful stay at this cottage—it truly felt like a proper getaway, even though it was only an hour from home. The cottage itself is absolutely stunning, set in a beautiful village location, and provided a perfect retreat.

The only reason I’m not giving five stars is due to a small but unfortunate issue with cleanliness. While the place was spotless overall, we noticed a questionable stain on the bottom half of the bathroom door. It looked like a dry no2 stain. It's in a village with many pets around so we didn't think much of it. We just took a picture and emailed the host, who responded promptly and offered to send a cleaner the next morning. However, despite confirming our availability and following up, no one showed up to address the issue. First we got told someone will come around 11am. After nobody showed up we even informed the host that we’d be out for a few hours in the afternoon, hoping it could be sorted in our absence, but unfortunately, it was never resolved and they didn't reply to my emails anymore. When we checked out the stain was still there. It’s a shame because this wouldn’t have been a major issue if the host had been more responsive. That said, we still thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and with better attention to guest concerns, this would have been a perfect experience so maybe future guests should be more careful and make a point of that.

Real fire was great and plenty of wood available

No cooked breakfast. Supplying a few eggs and toast is not breakfast

Location excellent, beautiful property, breakfast was very good, great attention to detail was great, very peaceful stay, ,would high recommend
