Skerrols House

The secluded position of the house amidst wonderful scenery. Tomas's welcome and personality - he was wonderful to chat to. The marvellous 5 star breakfast was a real treat. The facilities in the house, beautiful room, restful lounge to sit and relax in after a day of exploring. Very upmarket fittings and fixtures. We thoroughly recommend Skerrols House. Thanks so much for such a lovely stay.

The breakfasts were excellent and the location superb with lovely views of Jura .Thomas was an excellent host very friendly and helpful.

An amazing B&B. Hosts were so friendly and helpful, the bed was super comfortable and the breakfast was amazing (nothing was too much trouble).

No negative from us - a great place to stay on Islay!

Very clean, impeccable, contemporary amenities. The host prepared an excellent breakfast for us, make us feel like at home. The fruits were so fresh. The property is a white washed stone cottage, with a country feel but at a very convenient location. So lovely that I will come back next time I travel to this area!

Only niggle was the challenge of finding somewhere for an evening meal - but this seems to be a problem for the island

The hospitality was second to none. Thomas was friendly, helpful, good-humoured and no query/request was too much. Rooms were very clean and well-appointed. The whole property felt homely and is beautifully situated - perfect location for the northern distilleries but also easy enough to reach Port Ellen. Breakfast each morning was delicious.

Our stay at Skerrols House was absolutely lovely. Thomas was so warm, welcoming and helpful. The breakfast each day was delicious. And the house itself was very nice and comfortable.
