The property has history, which is interesting.

Property and grounds are run down. Requires some tidying up and accommodation needs modernising, bringing it up to date, which would give a comfortable stay. Pictures advertising the property are not what you get or see.

"Okay but too expensive for what it was."

Location okay. Quiet and we liked private entrance.

The bed was so small and couldn't have fitted 2 normal size people comfortably. Therefore my partner tried to sleep on the chairs. Also we were charged for my little pet on the way out. There were no glasses for water. Also the shower was not powerful.

it was a surprise night away for a 39th birthday

I thought the room would be in the main house but it was an annexe to the side of the house. it didn’t give the same experience as staying in an historic house
