Broomfields Country House

Lovely house and beautiful garden with view, the room was welcoming and warm; the breakfast fabulous and generous. The house was really pleasant and our host really attentive.

Early breakfast, but well solved

Wonderful host, very friendly and helpful, we were greeted with tea/coffee and biscuits which he then produced each afternoon of our stay. The breakfast was excellent. We were invited to use the family lounge, with wood fire in the evenings. The courtesy tray in the room had biscuits and chocolates as well as the normal tea and coffee.

I've had to think hard to find anything to say here, but a shelf in the shower room at waist height, on which to put tooth cleaning things and similar would have been very useful.

beautiful location - great to be back in the Borders - we were given a lovely welcome by Martin and Lorna. it felt like our home from home. looking forward to going back soon.

Martin gave us a warm friendly welcome. We felt relaxed and very well looked after during our short stay. Room was very comfortable and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was amazing. Beautiful surroundings, log fire , music and all that you could want to start your day. Totally recommend staying here and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
