Agriturismo Il Pillone

The agritusismo in whole. The owners are the soul of the place. Very beautiful and calm. It was like a home away home, a place I will definitely miss. Hopefully I can go back one day!

The owner Cristiana made us feel like family and right at home from the beginning, making us a caffe and making sure we had all information necessary for a great and safe trip within the area. Her English is exceptional (we’re working on our Italian! :)) ) and she gave us a tour of her gorgeous property, wedding venue and a complimentary bottle of wine to begin our stay. We were sad to leave and cannot wait to come back with more of our family! Il Pillone carries the heart of what we love of the people, culture, peace and beauty of Italy. The location in the picturesque hills is amazing!! (however, you do need to have a car to get there and move around). Cristiana was very helpful, friendly, warm and communicative and her hints on where to go and what to see (eg. visiting Pistoia nearby on her recommendation was spot on!) were just to the point! Breakfast that we had with all sorts of cookies, fresh eggs and awesome Italian coffee in a beautiful setting was something everybody needs to start the day properly!

We had a great stay in this agriturismo. The rooms are nice and clean, the location is wonderful and not too far from restaurants/touristy stuff. The owners are lovely and made us feel like home, we’ll definitely be back!

The hospitality was great, nice view just perfect.
