"Beautiful place, but cold"

Nice big room and bathroom with kitchenette, toaster, coffee maker, tea kettle and hot plate with 2 burners and minimal dishes. Could have used a few more dishes. Everything was very clean and in good shape. The hosts gave us a lot of fresh fruit and a traditional cake, which was very tasty and provided coffee and tea.

The big drawback was that the room and accompanying lounge area were very cold. The host did provide us a small space heater, but it just took the chill off the room and didnot heat the bathroom. And there was no heat in the lovely lounge area, which was a shame , as it had a great valley view, but was too cold to enjoy. The other drawback was bed was very hard. I like a firm mattress, but this one was too hard. The place would be perfect if there were functional heating(i.e.a split) and if bed was a bit more comfortable.

"Nette Gastgeberin, tolle Aussicht, süßer Hund"

Die Besitzerin ist super nett und gibt auf Nachfrage Tipps für Unternehmungen und Restaurants in der Nähe. Ihr Hund Molly ist Zucker. Der Ausblick aus den Zimmern ist der Hammer! Auch die Lage ist super, wenn man den Nord-Osten der Insel erkunden möchte. Super Startpunkt, wer den Pico de Ruivo bewandern möchte.
