"Wonderful home with a wonderful hostess!"

We were visiting Bouro for a wedding at the monastery. Casa da Obrinha exceeded our expectations in every way: beautiful home with comfortable furnishings, clean & comfy. Our hostess was gracious enough to have breakfast ready for us each morning with fresh bread delivered from the local baker. The location was perfect, with walking/hiking trails located directly by the house. If you want a quite, peaceful & beautiful place to stay close to Braga (south) or Gerês (north), we cannot recommend Casa da Obrinha enough & are certain you will love it here too!

"Relaxing stay with all the ammenities"

The owner received us and was very kind to us. She offered us freshly baked cake and fresh fruit as much as we wanted, besides the wonderful breakfast. The room was delightful, with lots of space and charm, all new and renovated. We will always remember this stay. Thank you very much, D. Teresinha!

"Perfect place to stay and explore the surrounding nature."

Fresh bread was delivered every morning for breakfast, the host stocked the fridge with eggs, ham, jam, fruits, and yogurt. The host told us about local restaurants and we were able to try one of them. The place was one of the best places we had dinner in Portugal. We wanted to try the one right in the town but it wasn't open when we were there. The host also gave us a small jar of jam as a parting gift.

"Nice cozy house"

When I saw the rating of this guest house 9.x on Booking, I thought: “No, I don’t believe it, it’s impossible”. So, after staying for a week, I must admit - it’s for real. Clean cozy house, splendid small town, nice restaurants in virtually 10 steps.Surrounded by mountains. The host is amazing! All we need (and more) was already in place. Thank you!
