Idyllic location. If you like breathtaking views, beautiful settings, a quiet place, swimming pool, a large garden under the shadow of trees, an authentic old mansion and cosy and comfortable rooms, plus an amazing breakfast, there is no other place worth is. Here you have it all!

Il posto è incantevole, la nostra camera in suite con vista sui vigneti e il parco intorno, era deliziosa. Ogni cosa è curata nei minimi particolari, l'atmosfera "delicata" permette un relax assoluto specie se accompagnato da un'oretta nella SPA riservata. Ogni prodotto usato è stato scelto con cura e amore valorizzando produttori locali. La colazione poi, un simposio di sapori e delizie. Ci torneremo presto

Struttura bellissima, immersa nel verde e super curata nei dettagli. I proprietari sono stati gentilissimi e super accoglienti. Ci hanno anche fatto un upgrade di camera, davvero un gesto carino e molto apprezzato! Un’altra cosa che abbiamo apprezzato tantissimo è stata la disponibilità: nonostante non fosse previsto, ci hanno proposto la possibilità di fare un light lunch in struttura, comodissimo per non doverci spostare e goderci appieno il relax. La camera era pulitissima, arredata con gusto e super silenziosa, con una vista bellissima sul parco. Anche gli spazi comuni sono curati e accoglienti. Durante il soggiorno abbiamo anche fatto una degustazione di tre vini, molto piacevole. La colazione abbondante e buonissima, con tante opzioni fatte in casa e prodotti locali freschi. Si vede che c’è cura e attenzione in ogni dettaglio. Il rating altissimo che ha è davvero più che meritato: si percepisce chiaramente quanto impegno e passione i proprietari mettano ogni giorno per offrire un’esperienza così bella e autentica. Torneremmo anche domani!

We liked everything about this Villa

Very friendly welcome. The owners Marilena and Carlo were fantastic. They both made sure that we were comfortable and taken care of. They were open and proud of their establishment and were interested in where we were from. Ben the hotels main operations assistant was excellent and went out of his way to make sure we were happy and everything was to our standards. The breakfast was 1st class and if you wanted a freash lunch, that could be arranged. Their wine which is available at reception is locally grown on the estate and delicious. Tay and I felt at home and would have loved to have spent several more nights to better explore the beautiful country side and villages near and around the villa. Thank you all for such a fantastic experience and well done. See you again in the future.

Villa Collepere is a beautiful place with a pool area that stands out as exceptional. Laying in the sunbeds you are looking at farming landscapes and green mountains at every angle. It makes for a very luxurious feel, The rooms are big with plenty of space. There are also common rooms and lounges that you can use. The outdoor patio for breakfast in the shade was another thing we liked. Good place to park the car in the shade. The Grotte di Frassassi are a sight in the vicinity that is well worth a visit. A special thanks for the watermelon at the pool and your gift of your own wine to us at departure.

The surrounding area and the town of Matelica were not the most exciting and we had some troubles finding good nearby places to eat. The communication with the hosts were somewhat hard and we think there is room for improvement in recommendations for restaurants and sights. It would be helpful with a curated list with information and links to places to eat (in various price ranges) and things to see. Also specific tips for where to park your car when going to the sea etc that is local knowledge would add an extra dimension. Villa Collepere is a countryside residence which makes it even more important with suggestions since its hard to find good ones by yourself. If you want to go to the beach its about an hour and a half which we felt was a little bit long.
