The location was peaceful and relaxing and central to all the places we wanted to see, e.g. Clyde, Alexandra, Cromwell, Queenstown and the cycle trails.

Open spaces outside so relaxing and had good flow from well set out house glowing to deck and then views enhanced the feeling of spaciousness

Nothing was comfortable homely and clean Maybe extra towels

The owners were very accommodating and let us put our Classic car in their garage which was great, good facilities and lovely and clean.

Highly recommend this little treasure. Out of the way enough withouth being too far from anything. The hosts were amazing, friendly and helpful. A really nice spot

After having our booking confirmed twenty minutes later it was then cancelled presumably for a longer stay. Very disappointing and we shall never recommend the Clydestay to anyone. We have had motels freehold for a number of years and also a hotel but have never come across anything like this. Couldnt get anyone to answer our email then when we did they only wanted cash. Sorry but that is our opinion of Clydestay.

Peaceful location , beautiful studio unit, host was very accomodating and good communicator.

Kitchen area a bit cluttered with other stuff on the bench. Would be easy to make better use of the overhead shelves and leave the bench clear for guests use. ( this did not detract from our stay though)
