Thistle Cottage

Loved the location and rural surroundings, the actual cottage was just lovely and very well appointed. Being able to park my race car and trailer in a safe and private location was an absolute bonus. Host was awesome to deal with. Liked it all, just in case you couldn’t tell.

We stayed at Thistle cottage immediately following our wedding. What a beautiful and peaceful location! Thistle cottage is beautifully appointed, the bed is so comfortable, and it feels like you’re a million miles from any hustle and bustle. Michelle is a wonderful host and was only a text message away. Would highly recommend as an alternative to any of the accomodation in Ashburton - it’s only a 7min drive from the highway and 9min from town.
