NZLocation was off the beaten track, very quiet and private, which was exactly what we were looking for. Beautiful setting and very comfortable.
NZHaving two separate bedrooms was just what we were after, and this property did not disappoint with amenities available. The setting was so tranquil and relaxing, with lambs close by and a lovely peaceful garden.

MYLovely cottage with everything we need. Great view looking out from the living hall, with many sheeps nearby. A good place to unwind after a long haul flight.
To enter one of the bedrooms, you need to pass thru the bathroom/toilet. Inconvenient when someone is using the bathroom, you cannot enter the bedroom or come out from bedroom. Other than this, everything else is great.
NZDelightful place to stay. Near Lake Hood and not far from Ashburton. Clean, beautifully decorated and cosy and warm. We enjoyed our stay at Thistle Cottage and will definitely recommend and return in the future. Thank you Michelle.

AUA gorgeous cottage, by far the cleanest property I have ever stayed at! Michelle is a wonderful host. Watching the lambs play was an added bonus!
