The Garden Room, 1 Heath Cottage

A lovely studio garden apartment set in a very quiet location down narrow winding country lanes and next door to the owner. Very clean and well equipped with a wet room which is great for those with mobility issues. Electric beds an added extra! Continental breakfast provided.

Only difficulty was the one step up into the room which was not ideal for someone with mobility issues. Not a negative but something to be aware of.

The room was spotless. Lovely modern shower room. Nigel was very helpful and catered for our needs. The bed(s) were super comfy and the surroundings were peaceful with beautiful gardens. The continental style breakfast was a lovely touch with plenty to offer. All in all, even though it was only an overnight stay, we couldn't fault it in any way.

Spacious and very clean

Lovely little place for an overnight stay. Really thoughtful to include some breakfast items (bread, milk, tea, coffee, sugar, fruit, yoghurt, butter, jam, babybels and bottles water). Not something offered everywhere so very welcome.. Very comfy beds and spotlessly clean throughout. Large shower. Nice and peaceful.

Honestly its a great place. Just knocked 1 point off for the fridge. It was making a strange sound during the night (intermitent whistle every 20 seconds or so) which was disturbing so we had to turn it off at the wall. Possibly needs replacing. The only other suggestion I'd make is darker blinds for summer as the light woke us at 5am, but its a small issue.

What a wonderful cottage lovely garden very helpful hosts Lesley & Nigel who explained everything. Very quite perfect for our one night break very close to a family gathering.
