Very clean and tidy, comfy bed, excellent wet room, well stocked fridge, 2 lovely easy chairs to relax in, really enjoyed our 1 night stay

Location was great as we were attending a wedding at Colshaw Hall. Breakfast great

It is a lovely quiet location.

Booked what the owners described as a luxurious double bed. They provided two single beds with a 100cm gap down the middle with lumpy old mattresses. The entrance door was about 6" too low for my husband to walk through. The door did not have a warning sign. He is 6ft 1" tall, and so the property does not comply with current building regulations. Terrible breakfast - self-service with all items provided from Aldi. The property does not have a kitchen sink, you have to place dirty utensils in a bowl for the owners to wash!

The room was absolutely lovely. I arrived quite late after being at a wedding and everything was there and ready for me to just let myself in and get settled as if I was at home. Very comfortable and inviting. I loved my stay. Thank you

The location was a little bit off the beaten track for me, single lanes with no lights but fairly close to a main road. It wouldn’t bother most people but just made it a slight negative for me. Otherwise it definitely exceeded my expectations. We didn’t eat the breakfast but there was a good choice as well as some snacks. A comfortable bed and good shower.

Slightly off the main road with an unlit single lane path. I do admit that lots of people wouldn’t be bothered by this and it’s a personal thing, so don’t let it put you off.

Location is idyllic & close to wedding venue. Hosts really helpful as wedding timings meant that i needed to drop bag off before normal check in time. Nigel then was kind enough to give me a lift down the road to the wedding as saved quite a wait for taxi. Food supplies in fridge were very generous and very good variety of choice for breakfast. Exceptional customer service from the owners as Nigel also helped with start of my return journey home

Was difficult to find house in the dark later so after wedding ended taxi had to go up & down narrow lane before I recognised entrance to drive- google maps failed to locate exact location but taxi driver switched to apple phone and found house- now I've been once would get correct location straight away if there again but was bit worrying at midnight in the pitch dark lane- was also unlucky in that taxi driver was new to the area so this issue not really something that property owners could help with- although could advise guests to use apple phone service rather than Google maps where possible

Well presented, exceptionally clean and very quiet rural location with everything we needed for a couple of nights. Very private, comfy electric beds and a plentiful supply of breakfast, and snacks.

The only slight drawback was WiFi connectivity was not great in the area.

Is a bit out of the way so it's a bit of a drive to go anywhere
