"encantea" lovely country house

This property provides apartments with a shared pool, but the overall space and provision of dedicated sun beds and dining areas are excellent. A really comfortable feel with enough private space and options to chat to other guests as you prefer. Giovana was a superb hostess and was present every day of our stay, seeing to things around the property and being available to answer questions, provide extra things (like a nutcracker!) and arrange taxis, restaurants and winery visits if you prefer her to call on your behalf.

The centre of Lucca is walkable in about 30 mins, but would recommend a taxi back after dark. Ask the restaurant or venue you are in to do this for you, as we found casual booking on the street a bit hitty-missy.

Location is brilliant, it's a bit of a walk into Lucca - especially if it is hot, but it's quiet, peaceful and great for parking. There's also a small supermarket nearby and a couple of bars and eateries. Giovanna is a great host, really easy to get hold of and looks after you if you need it - for the deposit, make sure you have cash! I completely forgot about this.

Hard to say, it's a lovely location with plenty of facilities and very comfortable. I couldn't find a kettle for tea, but I might have missed it and was fine anyway!
