mekong riverside homestay

La vue est super agréable ! On a très très bien mangé :) On a été servis en très grande quantité à chaque fois ! La propriétaire est très sympa et comme partout au Vietnam, elle a le sens du business ! ;) Donc effectivement elle propose des transports ou excursions mais nous ça nous a aidé pour aller à la prochaine destination.

La chambre est propre mais rustique donc il y a pas mal de bêtes qui se faufilent dans la chambre…

約3年振りに滞在しましたが、成功しているせいか著しいサービスの低下が見られました。食事は相変わらず美味しかったですが、以前と比べて品数が１〜２品減っているのが残念でした。部屋はとてもベーシックですが、小綺麗ではあります。それ以外はリピートできるレベルではなくなっていました。

一番酷かったのは、チェックアウトの精算時に最高額紙幣500K札（USD20弱）を約15枚と残りを小銭で女主人に払ったのですが、500K札のうちの1枚について、色が少し似ている100K札だと言われて取り替えさせられました。両替所で両替した連番の新札の束から念入りに数えて出したので絶対間違っていないのはわかっていましたが、証拠がないので諦めました。ベトナムなどでは初歩的な詐欺の手口なので騙された私が悪いのは認めますが、前回1週間以上、今回も３泊滞在して打ち解けていたリピーターに対する態度としてはあり得ないと思い、心から腹が立ちました。 他にも、メコン川ツアーなどは内容の劣化が激しく、金儲けのことしか考えていないのが手に取るように分かるもので、もうどうしようもない最悪のゲストハウスに成り下がっていました。 前回訪問してとても気に入っていただけに非常に残念です。 初めてこの宿への宿泊を検討している方はもちろん、２度目以降の訪問を考えている方も、絶対避けるべきだと思います。

The owner lady could be nicer, I told them that I don't eat see food or fish but they served shrimp. They wanted to give me a twin room but I am alone and so prefer a large bed, this is what I booked. The food is totally overpriced, and no choice as their is no place to eat around there unless you the ferry to the city. Pool was clean but during the day way too hot, no shade and water is too warm. So at the end I could not use it. However quiet. Not too far from ferry to town.

Tout était parfait. La taille des bungalows,la terrasse et la piscine La tranquillité au bord du Mékong L environnement et les balades sur les petits chemins au milleu de la végétation et des canaux. Top pour ceux qui aiment marcher et se perdre dans la nature. Le petit déjeuner copieux et les repas préparés chaque soir

Support from the staff including transport from Can Tho airport and to Ho Chi Minh City Airport was perfect. The location was magical; across from the bustle of Vinh Long so pretty quiet, especially in the evenings, but sometimes filled with sounds of fishermen and their boats and a school and cockerels and life. The place is brilliant: no TVs in the rooms or grovelling staff, just real locals running a simple place with great food, a pool and an honour system for drinks. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

There were a few moments where Vietnamese men who couldn't sing did karaoke somewhere nearby. It was funny as well as unmusical and I think they were celebrating reunification day so good luck to them.

The location is absolutely stunning and the food they serve up delicious. I arrived by bus and got dropped off in Vinh Long at a place specified by the owner - they then picked me up by boat and took me across the river to the property - a fantastic way to arrive.

The pool could have done with a bit of TLC!
