Monte Carrascal Guesthouse

Paula and her family are the best hosts you can imagine. Their hospitality and generosity were well beyond expected. The House and location were also amazing. Highly recommend staying at their guesthouse!

The most tranquil and relaxing location. A single story self contained apartment. The small terrace has a fantastic view and Paula is a most engaging hostess. There is a local supermarket 5 mins walk away.

Everything was perfect. Paula was an awesome host, the location is beautiful and the cottage was lovely. We didn't miss anything and if we are ever back in the area we will come back :)

It was peaceful, clean and tidy and had everything we needed. Paula was kind and friendly.

A lovely little cottage, just lovely. Lovingly done by Paula—-she plainly takes great pride in her cottage and it shows in many details. Like a home away from home—-beautifully equipped kitchen, super super clean, great shower with all kinds of thoughtful things (Q tips/many soaps/etc), comfortable bed that Paula split into two for two touring cyclists. And four very friendly, very affectionate dogs to keep you company on the tranquil patio watching the sun set. Super cottage, super owner, super tranquil—-a great stay. Obrigado! Michael Himes
