Finca Hoya del Pozo

Loved the location. So close to a great beach and coastal walks and yet so tranquil and relaxed. Great communal garden, we enjoyed using the outdoor space for relaxing, reading and eating. The room was very spacious and clean as was the communal kitchen. We liked having a separate fridge to store our food and enjoyed the breakfasts. Staff were very friendly and it was lovely to meet the owner who was very friendly and helpful. We really appreciated the personal service. Thank you for a wonderful stay in your beautiful finca.

Nothing! We enjoyed every aspect of our stay and it exceeded our expectations.

Nice apartment, clean, just off the beach. Comfortable bed. Nice garden with palm trees. Easy access from the airport. Arrived fairly late due to flight and car rental delay, but there was someone there to meet me (she only spoke Spanish, I don't really, but we managed). There was fruit, tea and coffee and some basic breakfast in the shared kitchen (very welcome after late arrival).

All the outside space and kitchen is shared, so you're dependent on your fellow travellers whether this is nice and social, or annoying. It wasn't busy when I was there, so it was fine. Easy access from the airport also means that there's airplane noise on this part of the coast pretty much all day. Didn't notice any at night. The closest parking is a bit of a walk.

-Close to beach (just outside) -Room size -Quiet -Room has a shared bathroom with one other room. No one was there for the 1 night we stayed so got a private bathroom. -Seeing the local life compared to the touristy south if you walk along the seaside to the town/shops and at the beach

-More labels in the shared kitchen maybe for things to use - The main door can be a little difficult to open/close with the keys - If you don’t speak basic Spanish you have to use hand gestures or phone translate for the house keeper but not really an issue because it’s easy to know about the room, keys etc.

Host has such a character - pleasure to converse a bit. Location is prime considering my purpose is solely to visit Sanmao. Love the massive garden, such a pleasant thing to dine in it - the fact that she equipped the kitchen so well also heightens the experience.

Am sure it's just the building being a bit experienced so not the most well sun-lit.

Location is superb. Very close to the beach and in walking distance of several restaurants. Room itself was a good size with comfortable beds and a modern bathroom. Despite the language barrier staff were very friendly and helpful.

It's a shame there is no wifi in the room itself, you have to go outside to the terrace. No extraction fan in the bathroom. It gets very stuffy for the second person who is getting a shower.
