I loved the people who worked at the property. They were kind and when I reached out to them for help late at night they were quick to respond which felt comforting as a solo traveler. I loved that the property was close to the Douro river with a spectacular view and you can walk through the property looking at the different fruit trees and chill in hammocks. The salt water pool was refreshing clean and accessible at any time. The breakfast was tasty and came in a cute picnic basket at the door. The place felt like a nice escape in the country side and was a convenient location about a 20 minute drive to Régua and 40 minutes to Pinhão.

The drive is a little nerve wracking at first but once you get used to the countryside driving it isn’t too intimidating.

Zeer mooi uitzicht. Rustig. Verwarmd zwembad. Proper appartement. Er wordt dagelijks een ontbijtmand geleverd met vers geperst fruitsap! (Verder wel elke dag dezelfde inhoud).

Het water liep niet goed weg in de douche en lavabo. In het begin liep het toilet even door, maar de gastvrouw had ons een trucje geleerd om dit op te lossen. Zoals al meer vermeld: de weg naar het verblijf is niet voor angstige mensen.. (langs de ene kant een muur en langs de andere kant een afgrond.) Gelukkig reed mijn man, maar ik zou het niet gedurfd hebben.

Tranquilidade e paisagem

Adoramos a nossa estadia e a "nossa casa" de fim de semana alargado! A Quinta tem espaços fantásticos para usufruir a natureza e as vistas lindíssimas sobre o Douro! A casa é muito confortável, acolhedora e decorada com muito bom gosto. Fomos muito bem recebidos pela Celeste e agradecemos os mimos e atenção aos nossos pedidos de pequeno almoço.
