El Molino de Iramala

We cycled off the Via Verde to stay at this special place: an old mill renovated into a few guest suites. The friendly and helpful owner was a very talented metal worker who had put his artistic touches everywhere on the property including the conversion of old wooden mill pieces into furniture. It was a chilly, spring afternoon and our host brought a load of wood and started a cozy fire for us. The entire property was beautiful with many scenic areas to sit and relax outside.

Replacing the shower head would be a good idea.

A lovely tranquil stay, excellent accommodation and very nice hosts.

The property was excellent with a fully equipped kitchen and very spacious bedroom with mosquito nets in all rooms. The owners father was such a friendly individual and at 86 years old, still very active and very funny. We were allowed to pick the grapes and the figs from the garden which were delicious. Very large rooms. Would certainly go back there.

The property was a little difficult to find and needs signs from the main road as we passed the turning twice before noticing a hidden sign after the gravel turning.

Such a beautifully located amazing place! Really quiet and comfortable. Well equipped. Warm. Isidoro and his family were so kind and helpful. Totally worth returning for another visit. We highly recommend it.

The location of the old mill is very peaceful. There is a beautiful hike between the mountains with many ibexes only 5 minutes away. Great beds and very clean house. We will definitely come back.

The bbq facilities were great, as we don’t have access to that regularly we took advantage of it. The huge garden was also very nice for our dog and child to run around. There are lots of trees growing which will soon give more shade. The house itself is large and quiet.

Although we used the bbq, the shelving system for it isn’t quite set up properly so it was a little difficult. It would have been nice if the owners had left some info about the surrounding area about what to do and see.
