A modern building with rustic charm. We had the entire place to ourselves. Large breakfast room, common room and pool area. 2 fireplaces for cold days but it was 29 degrees during our visit so the AC was more important. Beautiful night sky and a rooster in the morning! Nice breakfast prepared by the housekeeper.

The owners, Catarina and Pedro, are such nice and attentive people. The house is in the middle of their farm, making things quiet and relaxed. The decoration of rooms and common areas is done with fine taste and makes things very cosy and comfortable. Breakfast is outstanding, and Catarina always has a good surprise. During the day you have drinks and fruit to self-serve, and it really feels like you're at home.

The bed mattresses were a bit hard for my back. Maybe good for others. But I would prefer a memory foam mattress.
