The Laurels At Inchbrook

Beautiful property located near Stroud which is an excellent base for exploring the area and also very close to Badminton horse trials- just 15/20 mins avoiding M4 queues.

It was great having separate rooms. Larger towels in the bathroom would be a plus.

Great house, full of character and old worldly charm!

It's proximity to Nailsworth and Stroud. The room was clean and the shower had excellent water pressure. Emilie was very friendly and helpful when we arrived.

The bed was a little small and the door was so stiff that I had trouble opening it from the inside. I wanted to mention this to Emilie but could not find her when we left.

Excellent facilities for what I required for a working trip. Reliable wifi, comfortable, quiet.

The room door wouldn't close all the way and therefore could not be locked from either the inside or outside. My room on the first night was freezing. I asked for a heater the next day and was told all about the thermostat being set to 18 degrees and ambient temperatures before the owner turned the heating up. No apology for the previous night's discomfort. Similarly, when the TV wouldn't come on properly she grumbled about people fiddling around with things in their room. The decor was tired (worn out carpet with holes in in my room, cracked sink and bathroom tiles etc) and I just found the place depressing.
