Very welcoming on arrival after thinking it was almost derelict, but an old building in need of some repair. Room was clean and comfortable. Perfectly adequate for a budget stay in the area.

The building is obviously in need of some TLC I thought on my arrival that the property was no longer functioning. Very tired and a damp smell about the place.

Emilie was extremely welcoming and very interesting, telling us about the history of the house. We enjoyed meeting her wolf dogs and learning about them. The house is old and traditional. We enjoyed our stay very much and it is good value but it would not be suitable for anyone who wants modern luxury. It is well located for Nailsworth or Stroud and there are beautiful walks nearby.

Emilie our host was delightful and helpful and our room comfortable but the house does need attention as it is very old.
