The property is set in its own enclosed grounds. It is very private and safe with flat parking for several cars. It has its own pool and several different seating areas, including sun loungers, in the sun and shade. There is also a toilet near the pool area which is handy when outside. All the bedrooms had independent air conditioning units. One bedroom and bathroom were on the ground floor and the other bedrooms and bathroom were upstairs. There was a nice terrace off the hall with excellent views over the olive groves and hills to the back of the property. The TV worked well and we were able to watch Netflix films etc on it.

It was obvious that the property has been a holiday home for a while now and it could do with a new settee, as we did find it a little uncomfortable. Also we slept downstairs and the bed was a double, although it was very comfortable, we really struggled with the small size of a double. Wifi was quite slow for us, so in the end we paired the phones to our laptops which worked fine as there is a good 5G signal.

Una casa increíble para pasar unos días en Setenil y conocer sus rincones. La casa tiene todo lo necesario para una estancia agradable, con todas las comodidades. Además, tienes tu propio garaje, cosa que en el pueblo se agradece porque es complicado el aparcamiento. La comunicación con los anfitriones muy buena y unas recomendaciones locales estupendas.

Si quieres visitar el pueblo, es conveniente mover el coche, porque el pueblo es todo cuesta y la casa está un poco más retirada.

Onze verwachtingen waren wellicht te hoog gespannen door de eerdere beoordelingen en foto's. De reden waarom wij het maar een 7 geven, is omdat de bedden echt aan vervanging toe zijn en dat er wat achterstallig onderhoud is, dan wel vervangen moet worden (oa parasols, ligbedden zwembad, kraan keuken) Er was met de Franse slag schoongemaakt
