La Casa Di Adelina Monticchiello

Great location, warm and welcoming host and awesome breakfast!

Francesco was a wonderful host and made the most amazing breakfast for us for our 3 days there.

Francesco, the host, artistically prepared and served each breakfast. He also helped us plan a walk to Montepulciano. The B&B is an old family home and staying there is like going home.

Booking.com did not make clear how complicated it might be to get to and from the town if traveling by public transportation (impossible) which, in the end, added to our adventure.

The location is in the heart of the town of Monticchiello. Easy to get up and walk around this town to explore the shops, restaurants and the history of the town. This B & B is well appointed and the easy access to the kitchen allows you to bring in food for when you don't want to eat out. Breakfast was very good with a selection of cut fruit, egg sandwiches and meats, along with coffee. I will stay here again when in the area

Parking is outside the walls of Monticchiello but it seems to be safe.

The owner, the house, the Town are simply amazing

very comfortable to stay. good location to visit Val d’orcia and Pienza, Montipullchieno , Montalcino. warm hospitality from host Francesco, Simone and Serena.

The town of Monticchiello is a very quaint Tuscan town. There is no parking within the walls overnight. There is parking, but know that it is uphill all the way to La Casa di Adelina. Also, there is no lift, so it is up about 3 small flights of stairs. The lodging is beautiful. There is a common area that is quite large and cozy. My sisters, my husband and I were the only people staying there. The rooms were good size, the bathrooms as well. Showers were European size (a tad tight) but good water pressure and towels! Breakfast was great! Fresh fruit, good size lattes, eggs on toast, assorted breads. We all enjoyed our stay. Francesco was very good at communicating and his wife was really great when she greeted us and got us settled. All 4 of us would highly recommend this hotel. We didn’t do much in town, but we did dine at Daria’s. Great dinner!

There wasn’t anything about the place we didn’t like. Just know there is a bit of a walk from the parking lot and no lift.

Francesco (the owner) was very welcoming, kind and helpfull. It was really important for him that our stay would be as great & enjoyable as possible. It appears to be our best choice in the entire Toscany area. The spacious apartments, the, pesonal fresh breakfast served, the cleanliness, the authentic decoration and atmosphere, the excelent fresh apple cake.
