Quiet place in order to relax and enjoy nature. The people attending were very helpful and very attentive. Strongly recommend having breakfast soon to delight morning sun. Also recommend drinking a cup of regional wine on the terrace while watching the sunset.

There had been a mistake in the booking and we could not enter until 7pm. But the place was very comfortable and nice and the owner gave us a 50% discount for the trouble. We would stay here again.

The hotel is exactly like the photos :) with great views of the mountains. It is located really close to lake Kournas and while its a hot walk you can get into town too (having a car would make things easier). The staff went out of their way to make our stay a fun experience :)

Room needs renovation. Everything needa renovation. Temperature in the room is a nightmare. AC had to be turned on whole night. Standard of facilities in a room is very poor. There is some magic done to the electricity - see pics. Host focused on explaining to us the additional cost for coffee, laundry etc instead of focusing on our stay in general. Host was mowing the grass till 1030 1045pm. Behind the bulding is a chained dog which simply breaks hearts. We do not recommend this place. For that money you can get much better place.

Friendly host who went out of his way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Nice location near the lake of Kournas. Kavalos restaurant in the nearby village has delicious meals. We visited the ancient theater of Aptera and the beautiful city of Chania which was much more worthwhile than Heraklion. The surrounding area offers plenty of interesting sights to see or go for a walk.

There was no breakfast room though the bedroom was hardly suitable to have breakfast. Several times the hostess turned off the hot water before we had a shower. Fortunately, the host intervened after a few days. There was no lounge as stated on the site. Luckily we didn't experience any rainy days.
