This is the true Alentejo. We loved everything about this place, specially the horses, the beautiful simplicity of the decoration, the free bicycles, the pool area and the friendliness of the owners with tons of good recommendations for restaurants (we ate at casa do Alentejo in Castro verde and it was great!). We didn’t want to leave and will come back!

As dog lovers we didn’t like that there was a dog on a chain. We would have loved to have a dog walking around freely. All animals in this farm were incredibly well treated so that was a bit sad.

The hosts were very kind and helpful during our trip. The house was fantastastic for a family of three (one baby), and the owners did everything to make the house feel like home for us. They even put aside some toys! The area is stunning - for birdwatching especially. The hosts also gave some very helpful tips to find some rare birds in the area. The pool was also a very big plus!
