We have mixed feelings about our stay. On the positive side, the house itself is very charming and the host (the gentleman) was incredibly kind and took great care of us. He prepared an excellent, delicious homemade breakfast in the morning. The room was perfectly clean, the bed linens were fresh and fragrant. As were the towels the gentleman provided for us.

However, there were several issues with the room. It was extremely cold during the night – around 16°C - and if it weren't for the extra blankets, we would have been freezing. The water temperature in the shower was very weak, and the toilet barely flushed. Given the low price we paid, the basic facilities were expected, but these technical issues were still uncomfortable. The most unpleasant part of our stay was the attitude of the lady owner. Immediately upon our arrival, the first thing she addressed was a 30 Euro price difference on Booking.com. She approached us again in the morning, clearly expecting us to pay the extra amount. We found this very unprofessional. We booked the room for the price displayed on the platform, and any pricing errors are not the guest's responsibility. Our rating would have been much higher thanks to the gentleman’s hospitality, but the constant pressure regarding money ruined the atmosphere.

Thr location was the location was far from the village for us who we didn't have a car.But then again Martin was there to take and bring us back any time.

Carmel and Martin were delightful — wonderful hosts! My kids loved being greeted by the sheep in true Irish fashion. The room was an ideal fit for us with a double and two twin beds. It was beautifully furnished and prepared. Breakfasts were delicious and my husband was the brave one who enjoyed Carmel’s homemade black and white pudding. Martin was especially helpful recommending a local site where we got to see a sheep dog herding demonstration and great restaurants.

Irish summer weather was less than ideal. Pouring rain, very windy and foggy and comical videos of us trying to see the Cliffs of Moher. Oh, well!

Nos hôtes nous ont très bien accueilli. Au petit soin, un petit problème technique à notre arrivé dans la chambre a tout de suite été réparé. Petit déjeuné au top. Nos hôtes ont vraiment été très attentif à nos souhaits et ont rempli nos estomacs...

Hosts are lovely, really nice and great BNB experience. I would recommend anyone staying.

True and classic Irish B&B experience. The breakfast was excellent every morning and Carmen and Martin were extremely accommodating hosts. The kids loved the sheep and rabbits and the location was great for spending several days exploring the region.
