Amazing location far from any hustle of civilization. You relax on the terrace with spectacular views and only hear the sounds of nature. Add the fabulously friendly and welcoming host Bonifacio, and you feel totally at home. Fresh eggs in the morning from his chicken, the fridge thoughtfully stocked, everything provided for. Amazing

There's nothing not to like about this place if you're looking to relax. Great views , comfortable. !

Traditional and picturesque

Veranda was lovely to sit out on during the day and the view was lovely. Interacting with the chickens and cats. The area is nice and not overlooked. Very close to a town.

No indoor living room. Couldn’t sit out on the sofa with a light on because of insects. Dogs barking constantly a couple of times every day it sounded like a pack (probably feeding times). We found out There was a dog breeder/puppy farm down the road. We wouldn’t have booked it if we’d known that! No air conditioning just a fan. It was very hot in the bedroom. Could do with updating. Expensive for the facilities you got.

Thoughtful and friendly owner. Supply of eggs, butter and jam in fridge and bread brought in the morning.

It wouldn't be so good in winter as there is no sitting space inside, but for summer it is great.

This place was just what I needed. I live in a big city and needed a break in somewhere quet with a view and this was it. Only grasshoppers, frogs and occasional rooster. Perfect. Amazing view from the big terrace. I didn't want to leave. Needs a car though, but when you have it the village with two small supermarkets is less than 10mins drive away.

The last part of the dirt road there is in a bad shape so you need to be careful with your car. Had some problems with internet and I had to purchase some data on my phone to get through my work, but the host was very helpful with solving the issue.

We absolutely loved Can Cargol. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. The hosts, who speak some English and French, are lovely and provided us with everything we needed. Breakfast was . We particularly enjoyed the copious supply of fresh eggs from the resident hens. Be aware that the main living space is outside on the fully-roofed terrace, where there's a very fine sofa and a magnificent view. You can move the table inside to eat, and you can sit and watch TV in the main bedroom, but we didn't need to do either of those things. Parking is easy, just outside the house. The village, where you'll find supermarkets, bars and restaurants, is a few minutes drive or about half an hours' walk away.
