Barnabrow Country House

Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Betreiber! Ein verwunschener Ort mitten im Grünen inklusive Apfelbaumhain! Sehr herrschaftliches Anwesen mit toll eingerichteten Zimmern. Der Speisesaal war sehr schön mit hohen Fenstern mit Blick in den Garten. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und frisch zubereitet mit kleinen Extras als Überraschung.

I would have liked to stay longer!

I booked the morning of our stay and everything was smooth with this property. Excellent communication, met on arrival as promised (although we were a little late) and given advice on how to get to our destination. We were within walking distance of Ballymaloe which was great as we were attending an event there! Beautiful grounds, friendly staff and quaint, clean room, we will be back. Water, mints and

No restaurants, pubs or bars (besides Ballymaloe) within walking distance...it is very much in the countryside.

Great breakfast, cosy rooms, a nice change to stay somewhere with character while travelling for work.

The host and staff were lovely, the breakfast exceptional, the, buildings, location and rural setting second to none. Parking was easy too.

I'm afraid the family room wasn't particularly comfortable, smelt really musty and was damp. There was mould on the walls and ceiling in quite a few areas, damage and additionally in the bathroom floor tiles were coming up, the extractor worked intermittently and the shaver point didn't work.

A beautiful room in a lovely setting. The house itself is beautiful. My room was gorgeous. Very big and very comfortable. The breakfast was also delicious.

Whilst appreciate it is an old house, thick walls etc, there was no wifi available in the bedroom,only accessible close to carpark area. There was no TV either. As it was a business trip, it would have been helpful to know this in advance.
