Great value for money and perfect location to head to Taroko Gorge

Let me put words like this for this B&B, " I feel like I was with a family by blood" Watcha!, a must book place to spend the night if you are planning to explore Hualien, Taroko Gorge by specific.

Beds were too short.

I chose a bed in the dorm but I was the only guest that day so I had the entire room for me. The hosts is a local family and they are really welcoming. It is one of the rare places where I felt like a guest and not just like another tourist. They wanted me to feel comfortable and made a lot of effort to communicate with me (we used the phone translator but it was a lot of fun). I had a great time there. Everybody was kind and helpful. They even offered to drop me off at the train station when I continued my journey. They invited me for diner as I was checking in during diner time which was very nice of them. I enjoyed the experience because they are interested in meeting you and it's not just about business.

I'm reviewing the place now, a month after travelling but I don't remember anything negative. Maybe if the dorm is full, the experience is a bit different.
