Ótima localização, bem ao centro da aldeia. Fomos muito bem recebidos, quartos confortáveis e com ar-condicionado para aguentarmos o calor do verão. Pequeno-almoço delicioso e feito por uma senhora muito simpática. Uma ótima experiência.

I accidentally booked two rooms at Monsanto Forest Park, thinking it was in the village of Monsanto, but I did not realize there’s a completely different location in Portugal with the same name. Unfortunately, I only caught the mistake the morning of our planned arrival, and the rooms were non-refundable. Thankfully, I managed to make a last-minute reservation at Casa Pires Mateus in Monsanto village, and it turned out to be a happy surprise. The stay exceeded our expectations. Anna, the host, was incredibly warm and welcoming, and her English was flawless. She personally prepared breakfast, which was simple but appreciated. The rooms were comfortable, and the location was ideal for exploring the village in the evening and early morning hours. Overall, it was a great overnight stay in one of Portugal’s most charming villages.

Location is great, right in the village. Lovely terrace to sit on in the evening with a beautiful view. Bed comfortable, air conditioning appreciated as it was 37 degrees. Breakfast in the morning was nice and the coffee was great!
