Wat een prachtig huis met een fantastisch uitzicht. Als je de schuifpui opent in de eetkamer, terwijl je je ochtend koffie geniet, dan kom je echt tot rust met het uitzicht op het weidse landschap. Het zwembad is ook al zo mooi en word heel goed onderhouden. De eigenaresse kwam nog langs om te vragen hoe het ging en bracht direct een nieuwe parasol mee omdat de oude betere dagen had gekend. Wat een vriendelijke mensen! Het huis is een uitstekende locatie om het noorden te verkennen. Tips zijn de zaterdagmarkt in Vila Nova de Cerveira, wandeling over de stadmuur in Valença, de frisse zeelucht in Viana do Castelo en natuurlijk bezoeken aan Braga en Guimarães, allemaal goed te bereiken.

Wonderful property with stunning views on a quiet road in the hillside. Spacious house with great BBQ and outdoor dining facilities. Local shop and bar with very friendly owners just at the bottom of the road. We were pleased to have use of a washing machine and drier

Only a few niggly bits. We were left used, opened food items that were out of date in the cupboard The sofa in the main living room could only seat a maximum of three people so anyone else that wanted to sit down in the evening had to sit at the dining room table unless they went to the entrance hall area to the sofa there. A few broken kitchen items such as the bottle corkscrew had no handle.

The house is situated in a beautiful area of Portugal! The views are amazing! Brilliant features with the home! Communication and care first rate!

The driveway took some getting use to. Always turn slightly right when leaving.

Stunning location. The house was beautiful, the gardens and pool were lovely. The view from the pool is to die for. Everywhere clean and well maintained, and decorated with real flair. Anabela was very welcoming and brought her daughters who spoke English when we arrived. She was very attentive during the stay, answering any questions promptly. It’s such a beautiful area too, with mountains and old towns within easy drive. Cafe das Cruzes was a short walk away and had a bar and a handy shop, and friendly staff.

The beds were uncomfortable and the pool umbrellas needed fixing but we’d still go again.
