Hotel Rural & Spa Can Curreu

shame i wasnt told the Spa was closed until AFTER i booked but i do love the place anyway

The hotel was in a rural area, but close to Santa Eulària. It was located higher than the surrounding area and had great views, especially in the morning when the mist was in the valley below. The service was excellent and the staff were friendly and very helpful. The room we stayed in was very nice, it had lots of space which included a sitting area with a sofa and a kitchen area with a stove top if you wanted to cook. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom amenities were excellent. Even though it was at Christmas time we were able to have our breakfast outside just about every morning. On a couple of these mornings some young peacocks wandered by. Walking around the grounds there were orange trees full of oranges and banana trees which at one point had ripe bananas on them. For us the location was perfect as it allowed easy access to the locations we needed to get to. That being said no point on Ibiza is that far away, but having a car is very helpful. It was also nice to visit in December as the population is much smaller than in the spring and summer. We had New Years Eve at the hotel and the five course dinner was superb, there were party favors and dancing and it was appreciated that children were welcomed along with the adults.
