Can Font de Muntanya

What an amazing gem tucked away in the mountainside far from civilization. If you can figure out the path to get up to the hotel (forget Google Maps!), you will be rewarded with an amazing oasis of relaxation. The views, the animals, the amazing facilities... and the incredible food! We unfortunately just had 1 night at Can Font de Muntanya, but we could've stayed for a month. We also got lucky enough to be the only guests there so it felt like our own private sanctuary. The staff was wonderful and helpful. Everything was perfectly taken care of. Even the meals were perfect, despite us being the only people around. I would go back in a heartbeat if we find ourselves in the region. And I'm trying to find an excuse to book some sort of small team getaway or family reunion here.

The breakfast was exceptional, the evening meal was also very special. The friendly staff made our stay.

The only problem was the last 3 km dirt track. There had been two weeks of very heavy rain before we arrived, and this made it an unpleasant drive, if you are not driving an off road vehicle.

This is a very special place . Hidden high in the hills surrounded by nature you instantly feel calm upon arrival and are taken in by the views. Greeted by host Laura who is wonderful and keen to make your stay a wonderful experience she is always on hand to give advice and recommendations .

Everything was wonderful

The hospitality of the owners and the staff was exceptional. Both the breakfast and dinner was excellent. The quality of the food was outstanding. The place is remote, spacious and with beatiful views. We stayed just one night. I would like to have passed a full weekend in this relaxing place.

One should certainly follow the instructions of the hotel to reach there. If you follow Google Maps, you can fimd yourself in the middle of the forest with tens of kilometers of muddy and rocky roads where you can damage your car.

Stunning property, great care with every little detail. The view from our terrace (Colibri) was breathtaking. Pool and pool area was spotless. Our reception on arrival was more like going to friends than going to a hotel. Impeccable hospitality. We were meeting friends to celebrate a birthday and all 12 of us agreed that we had never had a better meal. The service was flawless without being stuffy and the food was out of this world. Breakfast next morning was delicious. Thank you so much, we will definitely be back.
