Des moisissures dans la chambre, très bruyant la nuit (grenouilles je pense) et réveillé le matin par un souffleur à feuille, pas très agréable. Un peu chère pour la prestation

It’s hard to find a good accommodation in Ba Vi because the area doesn’t get a lot of foreign tourists, but Ba Vi Homestead was a good spot for us, with a simplicity and slight rustic-ness that fit the location and our expectations. We were among the only guests - it was an off season weekday stay - but we found it quiet and peaceful, and the included breakfast was good with a variety of options.

The only blanket provided was heavy and didn’t look particularly freshly washed, though we never took it out of the cabinet. We requested an extra sheet to use as a cover, since it was quite warm out, and once they understood our request we received it. It would have been helpful to have a sign pointing out which switch turned on the water heater for the shower, as it’s not obvious which it is and our first showers were therefore cold because we thought it just wasn’t working. Our private room with private bathroom was attached to a large open hostel style room, which we weren’t expecting. This might have been an issue if people had been staying there but none were during our stay. It took awhile to get a Grab to pick us up at this location, but they were helpful and booked us a driver to take us to the National Park. If you rent a motorbike this wouldn’t be an issue but we weren’t interested in doing that.

Personal konnte nicht so gut Englisch. Mussten mit Übersetzung arbeiten und dadurch gab es einige Missverständnisse. Ich war zwar Alleine im Zimmer, es hat jedoch keine Vorhänge oder sonstiges gehabt , daher wäre keine Privatsphäre vorhanden gewesen.

The staff were kind and welcoming, and the food was really tasty. Overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant stay with a good atmosphere.

The waiting time for food orders could be improved a bit.
