The Old Rectory

We had arranged to have a larger room and were in a separate part of the property across the drive from the main house. The hosts had thought of everything you might possibly need to have a comfortable stay. The room was stylishly furnished and the en-suite had a large walk in shower. We arranged to have breakfast which was served in the very elegant dining room in the main house. There was a wide choice and freshly cooked to order with plenty of freshly brewed coffee provided. The hostess looked after us very well and we were made to feel welcome.

Nothing about the property itself. Some of the country roads in the local area are quite narrow, but we were given good instructions of the best route to the restaurant that we had booked for dinner.

Loved it all

The room we stayed in was lovely and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The smart TV allowed us to watch what we wanted. The room was warm and cosy with good blackout curtains which allowed undisturbed sleep. Overall, very quiet and peaceful location!

Nice old fashioned B&B, good breakfast, but in a slightly remote location.

Es war ein ganz wunderbarer Aufenthalt - eines der schönsten B&B, in dem wir jemals waren! Wir werden in jedem Falle wiederkommen.

Es gab schlichtweg nichts zu kritisieren- „we loved it“!

The breakfast was excellent and Helga was a great host with extremely good knowledge of the area and local amenities. We will definitely stay there again.
