"A near perfect one-night stay for attending a private event locally."

The room with ensuite was very clean and very well equipped with a very comfortable bed. Superb breakfast prepared by our lovely and informative host.

The room was well heated but a bit drafty through the windows but that said it was New Year's Eve and exceptionally windy outside.

"Beautiful Georgian rectory in a quiet village spot on Deal's doorstep."

Helga is an energetic and assiduous hostess who went out of her way to provide information and help to ensure we enjoyed our stay in Deal (despite Storm Bert's best efforts!) Everything was very clean and comfortable.

There was nothing we disliked. My only suggestion would be to have comfy armchairs rather than upright chairs which aren't easy to sit and read on..
