Beautiful place!

It was a bit hard to reach, but worth the trouble :)

Um pequeno paraíso à beira rio. Otimo para relaxar e adorámos os banhos no rio que ficava tao perto da casa. As crianças divertiram-se muito. A casa é impecável, muito confortável e acolhedora. O Sr. Américo (e o seu cão Jack) são muito simpaticos e afáveis. Uma experiência a repetir.

Tranquilidade. Silencio, muito verde, agua do rio maravilhosa . Simplesmente perfeito pRa descansar

El entorno es una preciosidad y la casa lo mismo, merece la pena pasar unos días en este lugar

El acceso es algo complicado al ser un camino de arena y no estar demasiado bien señalado, sería bueno mejorar esto

We had a peaceful four day stay here in a lovely renovated slate stone cottage overlooking the river. It was very clean, had a good sized well equipped kitchen, separate double bedroom and bathroom, plus an undercover veranda we had every meal on. It's a really special place, with personal touches. There is also a larger cottage nearby if you are in a family or bigger group. You can walk along the river front, or walk up to town on laneways if you want a cafe, restaurant or groceries. It's under an hour to the 516 suspension bridge and other tourist sites. You have to call the owner when you get there, who then comes down to show you through the property.
