"Enjoyable weekend in Mjejane with family"

Sveni lodge was a very comfortable and tastefully decorated house. Well equipped with everything one should need for a comfortable self-catering stay. Very good quality utensils and new appliances. It is not located on the river but near enough to walk there.

We went for a game drive on the Saturday afternoon but there were very little game to be seen except on the riverbank where we saw elephants and hippo. No rhinos or lion. Mjejane and the greater Kruger Park are experiencing a terrible drought at the moment, and I pray for their sake and all the animals that rain will come soon. All animals like elephant buffalo, Zebra , Giraffe, hippo, waterbuck and Impala are drawn to the banks of the rivers in the Kruger and we saw plenty of animals there when we went into the Kruger over the weekend.
