Rest Green

Very nice and cozy place to stay and have a good rest from city routine!

Not that I don’t like but maybe would be nice to have some curtains for top and bottom windows.

Great location, very peaceful and quiet. We needed a short break and this was a perfect place. Also the grill provided for a BBQ. Highly recommend

Location, great sunset view on river, birds, bathroom, stars, a lot of space for barbecue, sleeping outside. It's very good place to be alone.

Bedroom space is really small, linen seems old produces a lot of dust - can be easily fixed by replacement. Need to remove dust more often. Air conditioner is mandatory to use at night even if cold outside due to small bed space space. Sometimes smell of farm coming with wind, and it could be very strong when cleaning up caw areas.

We stayed in Rest Green for almost a week in September and enjoyed it to the fullest. Such a cozy place in a peaceful environment with a view on a river. We were lucky to have the whole area to ourselves, waking up with the sunrise, going for a walk to the nearby village. (Just to take some pictures and enjoy the sun). We also booked a canoe. They brought us to one spot by car and then we ended up right next to our accommodation in the next 3-4 hours, the environment was beautiful, we canoed through different villages and diverse environment. We enjoyed swimming in the river or just simply looking at it while reading a book and sitting/lying down in a hammock that was hanging right next to our place. The kitchen was well-equipped, a bit tougher to wash the dishes in the bathroom, but manageable! The fridge was a bit too small for a longer stay - if you are planning to come for a longer time, it's better to plan meals that don't require to stay in the fridge. (Or if you have a car it's only 4km to the nearest grocery store) During our stay, we were also working for some time, the internet was all right but not good enough if you have meetings, other than that, it worked fine. During the breaks we could just come to the playground and play volleyball or football which was a great relax. And last but not least, very flexible, friendly and helpful hosts! They helped us a ton, as we didn't have our own car so the host arranged a taxi for us to bring us to Utena (nearby town) from where we took a bus to the airport in Kaunas. Highly recommend this place! 😊
