Everything was great - no downsides!

This is very nice hostel, it looks like palace and I felt like a queen. The host took care about my wellbeing as much as possible, he provide me extra blanket and heater, because winter nights are really cold here. The room is enough big, bed is very comfortable and water is super hot! The breakfast is really huge and delicious!

I spent a lovely couple of nights here. Abdul was a charming host, and a great bloke! One morning he showed me to a local area by the river from where I could start walking and taking some photos. When I hadn't returned to the hotel after a while, he went to look for me to make sure I was OK. I was fine, I had moved on by then and was happily wandering and exploring. But it was so nice of him to be concerned. He also liaised with the taxi driver who had brought me from Marrakech to arrange for him to come and pick me up at the end of my stay. Very friendly and approachable, and good to chat to. My room was great, with incredible Moroccan furniture. How I would love to be able to ship the bed home, it would look amazing in my bedroom! The views from the roof terrace are stunning, a great place to start the day with a sumptuous breakfast or to enjoy an evening meal. The food was excellent. The hotel is easy to find, being on the main road that runs through the middle of Imlil, but in a quiet area above the main village. Whilst uphill from the village, it's not too far, and not too strenuous a walk.

Nothing to say here really. Given the price I paid, my expectations were exceeded.

Breakfast was great, eggs, bread, cheese, jam and honey. And olives! This is an awesome riad in Imlil! If you go in the fall or winter, just know there’s no heat in the rooms. But there is hot water.
