"Pleasant and very quiet"

The only property available was the Old School House. It had been converted into accommodation and was really comfortable and being in the country was so quiet. The fresh homemade was a real bonus

"Charming one night stay"

Very pleasant one night stay in The Old School House on our way to Auckland. We loved staying somewhere with history and character. Lovely setting with views of green hills. The house was beautifully clean, and we were kindly provided milk, bread and eggs, along with jam and butter in the fridge. Thank you for the hospitality!

Real old building (not new one vintage furnished). Unfortunately, we stay there just for a night in our trip along North Island. The cottage is in a farm so if You want to feel the real live in a NZ farm you can stay there for a few days. The equipment in the kitchen is old but is enough good and everting work well. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are enough big. There is also penthouse in the front, so you can organize very romantic dinner outside. You can enjoy the silence and the absence of city noise also.

Nothing for such type of property.

Lots of space, historical information, full kitchen facilities, bread, milk & eggs. Just lovely.

NZ weather that led to a 5 hour detour 😌 Hosts were very helpful.

It was beautiful, the building has been thoughtfully restored, and furnished. Additionally with some wonderful modern features such as Heat pumps. There was home made bread, butter and a variety of jams in the fridge, not to mention the milk and eggs. The fresh flowers were also a lovely touch. Thank you Sue and Steve
