"A perfect Andalucian holiday!"

We had the most amazing stay at El recreo de Martalia! We went as a couple, however the house is easily large enough for a family. The villa is presented beautifully in a traditional Spanish style, the outside space is immaculate with a lovely pool, and the animals are a pleasure to be around, very well cared for and no trouble at all! Its so peaceful and private, and has beautiful countryside views. The villa was easy to find, the lane is little bumpy but was no hassle at all (we have driven plenty worse!) and the villa is ideally placed for Ronda and the surrounding areas with plenty of supermarkets/amenities on the way in and out of Ronda. Noelia was really helpful and friendly on arrival with a house tour, and checked in with us partway through the week which was thoughtful. The location and villa was very secure and we felt right at home straight away, we absolutely loved our stay and will definitely book again on our next trip to Andalucía!

We weren't sent the villa info until we were already on the plane, so did not know towels were not included! Booking.com stated that they were - this really needs to be amended and it would have been useful to have the info a couple of days before our arrival. A safe would also be useful for valuables, however we didn't feel uncomfortable leaving things in the villa with how safe the area felt.

"beautiful place with 2 lovely ponies but need to improve maintenance"

the place is amazing

all electric appliances are very old and some of them didn’t work at all. difficult to close doors.
