Wonderful hostesses! Very cozy place! Amazing location!

Clean and very quiet. Lovely country home. I was able to do a load of washing which was a bonus as we’ve been travelling for one month.

It was further away from sights than we had realized, so we did a bit more driving than planned. We tried to find restaurants in area but they were closed.

Daniela and Diana were the best. They were eager to accommodate you and to make your stay great. They can provide info about places to visit in Mendiga, like the Mira de Aire caves -spectacular- where they also admit pets. The terrace where one can have breakfast in the morning, the fireplace and the sofas... and the access to the kitchen and the shared refrigerator. The property in general. It was a dream.

Other places were cheaper, the room was a little small, and here they charge 70 € extra for two pets -one of the pets was free, they explained-. but in the end, it was fine since Mendiga is a very quiet and peaceful town, where I could walk the dogs at night on the empty roads in silence. Also, mind you, the house adjacent to the Retiro has a cat, so in case you bring dogs that like to chase them.
